Franco-German movie night and a treasure hunt
in the traces of shared history!
On July 5, 2023, Transc3nd and Rundumkultur welcomed residents from both sides of the Rhine to a journey through time.

It was an experience of discovering and rediscovering the history of the cross-border district of Port du Rhin, with its special geographical location on the edge of the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg and close to the border, the gateway to Germany.
The program for the movie night includes two short films by young people from CSC Au Delà Des Ponts and Ecole du Rhin, as well as a new montage on the theme of the Rhine port, produced by the regional film archive MIRA.
The evening began with a film screening, followed by a discussion and a convivial buffet, during which the project and the history of the Port du Rhin district were discussed with great enthusiasm.
Before the movie night, the Franco-German audience took part in an exciting scavenger hunt tracing the history of the border region.
